TACHS is a single-sitting admissions test
Do not plan on an improvement retake.
The 2026 handbook permits one TACHS sitting and states that results are final, without reviewing, rescoring or retesting.
Complete the official device preparation in advance. Keep help-desk instructions available to the parent for a technical interruption.
A technical interruption or illness is different from a planned second attempt to improve a score. Follow the administrator’s current support and authorization process if the student cannot complete the assigned assessment; this course cannot grant a continuation or makeup.
Before test day, distinguish technical assistance from content assistance. An adult may help with the authorized preparation or support process, but the candidate must answer independently. Do not treat a connectivity problem as permission to consult notes or discuss a question.
After reporting, ask each receiving school about its admission or scholarship decision. A practice score does not entitle the candidate to rescoring, and the original question bank cannot reproduce the secure test’s norm group or score conversion.
