TACHS 2026 dates and reporting

The handbook lists November 6, 2026 for New York and November 7 for Brooklyn/Queens and Rockville Center; registration closes October 28. Home Reports are scheduled for January 22, 2027.

Use the assigned session notification. School-choice cutoff wording conflicts: the calendar says November 7 at 11 p.m. in its row and 11:59 p.m. in its text; one handbook passage says November 8. Confirm the live portal and enter choices before the earliest published November 7 11 p.m. cutoff.

Registration runs from August 24 at 9 a.m. through October 28 at 11 p.m. in the official Eastern-time wording. The published fee is 78 dollars and includes reports to three chosen schools. Register once, retain the TACHS ID and check the registration confirmation.

Assigned sessions are at 8:30 a.m. or 10 a.m.; candidates do not choose a preferred time. Session information is due November 4 after 1 p.m. The handbook asks students to begin login at least 30 minutes before their assigned session, so include that preparation in the family schedule.

TACHS registration is separate from applications to individual schools. The official calendar lists December 11 for public-school applicant records, while participating schools and diocesan pages can specify earlier deadlines. Verify the requirements of every intended recipient and use its applicable deadline.

The calendar schedules Home Reports for January 22, 2027 after 3 p.m. An older interpretation PDF covers the prior sitting, and one registration passage prints the wrong report year. Use the current cycle calendar for that date and the live administrator portal for any update.
