The ADA replaced the DAT’s 1-30 reporting scale with a 200-600 scale in March 2025. These tools work on the new scale: look up the percentile rank for any reported score, and convert old scores to their official new-scale equivalents.
A DAT score report carries eight numbers: Academic Average, Survey of Natural Sciences, Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Perceptual Ability, Quantitative Reasoning and Reading Comprehension. Every one of them sits on the same 200-600 scale in 10-point steps, but each has its own distribution — so the same score means something different depending on which line of the report it is on.
That is what these tools are for. The percentile lookup uses the ADA’s published rank table, which is built from a national normative sample of more than 30,000 attempts, so you can see exactly where each of your scores falls. The converter uses the ADA’s official concordance table, which matters because almost all existing school data and advice is still written in the old 1-30 scale.
