Practice the reasoning behind the answer
Science questions span concepts and principles, problem-solving, research design, and reasoning from data. That includes interpreting experiments, selecting controls, working with equations, and judging what a table or graph supports. These are the four skill families in the AAMC content outline. Our bank also covers its 31 science content categories; a daily question is one part of a broader study plan.
CARS days ask you to understand an argument, connect ideas within a passage, or apply its reasoning to a new situation. The original passages are 500–600 words, with a mix of humanities and social sciences. All the evidence needed for the answer is in the passage and question, following the AAMC CARS framework.
Choose an answer, then select Finish to review and check it. Compare your reasoning with the explanation and identify what makes each distractor tempting. On calculation questions, check units and estimates as well as the final number. The practice is untimed, so take the time you need to understand the result.
A familiar exam workspace
Use Expand exam to fill your screen with the passage and answer panes. Highlight in yellow or blue, cross out distracting choices, and flag the question before reviewing. Adjust contrast or text size from the toolbar; Chem/Phys and Bio/Biochem days also include a periodic table. The elapsed clock helps you notice your pace without imposing a limit. AAMC documents its exam display tools and provides the official exam-features tutorial for practice with the actual software.

The shared daily question changes at midnight UTC. Each question appears once in a continuous 365-day cycle, then the cycle repeats. The schedule continues through leap days and does not restart on January 1.
These are original Test Ninjas practice questions and passages, independently authored around the AAMC content framework. They are not official AAMC exam questions. Scientific explanations include sources for further reading.
The bank includes passage-based and standalone science questions, plus passage-based CARS questions. It covers all four scientific inquiry and reasoning skills and all three CARS reasoning skills over the year. Every question has four answer choices and one best answer.
