Checked October 30, 2026 on Baylor University's admissions site . Policies can change each cycle.
Baylor has been test-optional since the class that entered in fall 2021 and has not announced an end date; its admissions site says the policy remains subject to change. On the application, you choose a testing plan: scores reviewed or not reviewed. You can switch one time, before you receive a decision. If you choose test-optional, Baylor will not consider scores you already sent. Some applicants must submit scores: homeschooled students, who may send the CLT, SAT, or ACT; students whose high schools give only narrative evaluations; and students graduating early. Some majors and programs also require scores. Baylor superscores both tests.
